Box Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism on the road. Duties • Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for deliveries and pickups. • Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques. • Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while adhering to scheduled routes. • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents. • Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and customers. • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance. • Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. • Handle heavy lifting and moving of products as required by delivery schedules. Experience • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. • Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas efficiently. • Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. • Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics operations. • Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients during deliveries. • Ability to lift heavy items safely and manage physical demands of the job.
