The Role
The brand copywriter will be responsible for creating written content for Glorify, including marketing campaigns, website copy, email campaigns, social media posts, and more. The brand copywriter’s job will be to ensure written content maintains a consistent brand personality and identity, helping to develop brand guidelines and enforcing them. As our team’s go-to copywriter, you will also be occasionally asked to help with UX copy and in-app content descriptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own all the brand voice and tone for Glorify across all channels
- Develop copy for campaigns, social media channels, in-app marketing, emails, and paid media.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on marketing content strategy across social media, lifecycle, blog, and more
- Develop content franchises for social media and other marketing channels that speak to a Christian audience
- Work cross-functionally across marketing, content, and product to ensure a consistent and compelling voice
- Occasionally give feedback and/or edit content that will appear in the Glorify app
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a copywriting role for a consumer facing brand
- Solid understanding of digital experiences and how to write for each channel (i.e., email, social media, paid media, out of home, website, in-app content)
- Understands how to write compelling sales copy
- Adaptability in writing style to match the Glorify brand voice and tone
- Familiarity with the Christian space, and speaking to a Christian audience
- Collaboration skills to work cross functionally with other members of the marketing team, product managers, content team, designers, and executives
- Creativity when it comes to expressing our brand and products in ways that capture attention and delight
- Experience in content ideation; you’ll be expected to pitch content ideas for social media and other brand marketing efforts
- A strong portfolio of work that shows creativity and an understanding of brand voice. Even better if your portfolio includes work in the Christian space.
- Experience managing time and establishing priorities while maintaining flexibility to respond to changing demands.Â
- Extreme attention to detail and a “less is more” approach to copywritingÂ
