You possess the innate ability to craft engaging narratives that capture the audience's interest so much so that they purchase our products and services. Your flow is logical and well thought out because you are open to feedback, take pride in fact checking and partner with subject matter experts to both create and refine your work. You are passionate about our existing brand. Plain and simple, you understand what it takes to reach our target audience and the value of the brand that we have built over the past 50 years! What makes you a great fit for our role: β€’ Proven experience conducting thorough research to learn the desired voice and syntax of a brand. β€’ Develop a deep understanding of the Mike Ferry brand and then create compelling content that elevates our brand on all levels. β€’ Ensure the accuracy and authenticity of content incorporating factual details to enrich the narrative. β€’ Strong acumen in bringing a message, event or workshop come to life through words while staying true to our current brand. β€’ Comfortable interacting and collaborating with various teams to develop and execute creative concepts. β€’ Immerse yourself in current content to learn the MFO style so that you can replicate it on various platforms. β€’ Adaptability to create, publish and maintain a consistent brand voice. β€’ Strong ability to write, edit and proofread both your own work as well as work of others for clarity, accuracy, grammar and adherence to style guidelines. β€’ Proven ability to meet deadlines as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously. β€’ Superior communication skills, which allow you to interact and partner with a diverse population while still conveying a positive message and building strong rapport. β€’ Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management. β€’ Passion for creative writing that inspires the reader to act! β€’ Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Creative Writing, Journalism or a very similar creative degree. β€’ Ability to share Creative Writing Portfolio that showcases your recent work as it relates to this role. Compensation, Benefits and PTO: β€’ Compensation Range: $60 to $65k β€’ Free Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and Long-term Disability Insurance for the employee as well as optional dental, vision, voluntary life, short-term disability, and AFLAC products. β€’ Time off from Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day to spend time with your family β€’ Vacation & Personal time Job Specifics β€’ Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM β€’ Full-time role, salaried role β€’ Regular work hours with NO overtime, weekends or federal holidays! β€’ On-site role at our Cimarron Road location.
