Job Description
The Marketing Director is responsible for leading the development, execution, and evolution of our brand’s creative strategy. This leadership role will oversee digital marketing initiatives, creative production, public relations, and team development. This person must be a strategic thinker and a hands-on creator, capable of building infrastructure, leading projects, and shaping brand identity across multiple platforms.
The Marketing Director must demonstrate positive role model skills, appropriate ethical behavior, and maintain the highest level of professionalism while adhering to agency standards of practice for clients, staff and the public.

Key Responsibilities:
Digital & Creative Direction
• Lead the design, development, and launch of a new, high-performing company website.
• Develop brand-aligned visual and video content across web, social, and internal channels.
• Manage the creative execution of training videos, promotional content, and original video series for digital platforms.
• Re-launch "BearTalk" and successfully plan and launch a branded podcast from concept through distribution.
Marketing Strategy & Team Building
• Create, recruit, and manage a high-performing internal marketing team as the company grows.
• Lead strategy and implementation of Facebook Ads and other digital advertising platforms to drive ROI.
• Expand and evolve the branded apparel lineup, working collaboratively with design and production teams.
• Build expert-level processes and scheduling systems for consistent, effective use of all major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
Public Relations & Communications
• Serve as the company’s PR and communications lead—developing press materials, nurturing media relationships, and securing publication and award opportunities.
• Identify and pursue collaboration efforts and brand partnerships aligned with the company’s mission.
Philanthropy & Community Engagement
• Strategically lead all charity and community engagement initiatives, including donation drives and sponsorship of community events.
• Create marketing campaigns to support nonprofit collaborations and increase visibility of philanthropic efforts.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing, art direction, or creative leadership.
• Proven track record in digital marketing, social media strategy, and creative campaign execution.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to balance strategic vision and hands-on execution.
• Experience in video production, podcast development, and digital content creation.
• Exceptional design sensibility with expertise in branding, typography, layout, and apparel development.
• Demonstrated success in building and leading a creative team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with PR and cross-functional teams.
• Passion for storytelling, innovation, and community impact.
