A Technology Sales Specialist role (what we internally call a âBrand Sales Specialistâ) in IBMâs Data & AI brand means accelerating enterprisesâ success by improving their ability to understand their data. Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Brand Sales Specialist youâll work closely with clients to develop relationships understand their needs earn their trust and show them how IBMâs industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.
Your primary responsibilities will include:

Maintain Client Relationships and Showcase IBMâs Tech Value: Actively maintain and nurture client relationships while effectively highlighting the value of IBMâs technology solutions.

Utilize Solution-Selling Skills: Apply solution-selling techniques to engage with decision-makers assess and qualify opportunities and establish enduring partnerships.

Oversee the Full Sales Process: Take charge of the entire sales process from handling RFI/RFP responses to meeting key performance indicators (KPIs). The focus is on acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts.
- Collaborate with IBMâs Sales Network: Work in cooperation with IBMâs sales ecosystem to develop and execute sales campaigns ultimately leading to the growth of the sales pipeline.
- Revenue Generation: Generate pipeline and close business on a quarterly basis.
- Client Management and Value Definition: Effectively manage client relationships define IBMâs value proposition and engage key decision-makers.
- Sales Process Management and Collaboration: Oversee the entire sales process with a focus on expanding new business opportunities and collaborate closely with various IBM teams.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Direct customer selling experience.
- Sales Success: Demonstrated success in technology sales particularly in acquiring new clients and running a territory.
- Business Acumen and Communication Skills: Possess strong business acumen and effective communication skills.
- Engaging Compelling and Influential Communication: Ability to communicate in an engaging compelling and influential manner.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Multiple years of direct customer selling experience.
- Experience selling Enterprise Integration software.
- Sales Success: Demonstrated success in technology sales particularly in acquiring new clients and running a territory.
