Key Responsibilities: · Sell building materials to our customers from the customer service counter, providing a friendly professional welcoming environment. · Answer all calls and assist walk in customers. · Maintain and grow existing commercial and retail customer base through prospecting, sales account development, quoting and customer follow-up. · Ensure all customer sale orders are entered accurately. · Manage quote review and proposal processes for commercial fence installations. · Participate in product and pricing strategy with Branch Manager & leadership team. · Cash application and reporting. Requirements: · 1-2 years’ experience in sales. · Understanding of building materials industry. · Must be highly motivated, willing to find new Customers. · Must have Outstanding MS Office Skills (Email, Word, Excel, Etc.) · Must have excellent communication skills & demonstrated ability to work with sales, accounting, and operations in multi-location operation. · Must possess the ability to prioritize a multitude of tasks and devote resources towards accomplishing the most critical items. · Ability to speak Spanish is a plus. Work Environment & Demands: · Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities. · Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
