Business Analyst

Our Fortune 500 Banking client is looking for Business Analyst. Duration: 6 Months Onsite - Hybrid As a key member of the Product Development team for Private Equity Platforms, this role focuses on assisting with the implementation and execution of strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure product development objectives are met. Responsibilities include coordinating project activities, monitoring progress against established plans, and providing detailed analysis and reporting to aid decision-making processes. The role will require strong communication skills to facilitate information flow across global teams and the ability to identify and resolve execution challenges. The position’s emphasis will be on operational support, resource coordination, and contribution to the ongoing improvement and rollout of platform enhancements that are aligned with the strategic direction. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of the functions involved in administering private equity funds. This would include lifecycle of investor activity, private equity fund investments, rebalancing, liquidations including waterfall calculations and rebalancing. This will involve gathering feedback from clients and internal stakeholders, perform competitor analysis, drive the strategic direction, define priorities, manage development plans, and define and manage client rollout strategies and plans. • Bachelors or Masters degree with an in depth technical knowledge of processing and accounting of private investment activities. • 10 plus years of experience in private equity industry in product development or operations. • Ability to interact with clients at all levels. • Strong analytical skills including data analysis and data mapping. • Experience in working closely with development team to execute on the platform strategy. • Team player with ability to work with global cross functional teams at all levels of the organization. • Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and ability to work under time constraints using time management and organization skills.
