Role Description
Senderra Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Business Analyst II to join our team in Dallas, TX. This is a hybrid role where the candidate will primarily work on-site in Dallas but will have the opportunity for some remote work. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing processes, gathering and documenting requirements, coordinating testing and deployments, and communicating clearly with stakeholders at every level.
Key Responsibilities
• Requirements & Solution Design – Elicit, document, and refine business and data requirements; draft functional specs/user stories aligned with pharmacy data standards.
• Testing & Deployments – Coordinate and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and QA; support after-hours production deployments and perform post-release validation.
• Process Improvement – Lead data-driven initiatives to optimize workflows; present measurable impact to leadership.
• Issue Resolution – Troubleshoot production data issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
• Data Analysis & Insights – Profile, validate, and reconcile large healthcare data sets (claims, clinical, pharmacy) using SQL and BI tools; surface trends that inform business strategy.
• Stakeholder Management – Maintain high-touch, follow-up communication with executives, clinicians, developers, and third-party partners.
• Mentorship & Collaboration – Support senior analysts and coach junior team members on best practices.
Qualifications
Experience
· Mid-level position with typically 2-5 years of experience in the field
· Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certification
• Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA).
Skills
• Strong grasp of agile/Scrum methodologies and business-analysis best practices.
• Self-starter with advanced problem-solving skills and initiative.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; able to tailor messages to executives, clients, and technical teams.
• Exceptional meeting-facilitation, organizational, and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with remote personnel.
• Proficiency with Azure cloud data platform and JIRA
• Expertise with one or more BI tools like Power BI
• Familiarity with Clinical Coding & Interoperability (ICD-10, HL7 v2, FHIR) and Pharmacy Data Standards (NCPDP SCRIPT & Telecommunication D.0, NDC)
Additional Information
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Candidates must reside within the DFW Metroplex or be willing to relocate at their own expense before starting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
