Business Analyst

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and business objectives, utilizing data analysis skills to drive informed decision-making. The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing data, and providing insights that enhance our business processes and project outcomes. Duties • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for various projects. • Conduct thorough data analysis using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize trends and insights. • Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by facilitating Agile methodologies and project management practices. • Develop and maintain database designs using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other database technologies. • Utilize programming languages such as Python and R for data manipulation, ETL processes, and analytics. • Create detailed documentation using Visio for process flows and system designs. • Support data integration efforts with tools like Talend to ensure seamless data flow across systems. • Employ SQL for querying databases to extract relevant information for analysis. • Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders through presentations and reports. Requirements • Proven experience in business analysis with a strong understanding of project management principles. • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and analytics methodologies. • Familiarity with programming languages including Python, R, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell). • Experience with database design and management using Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
