Job Purpose:

We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst Graduate to join our team at Midleton Distillery. As a Business Analyst, you will support decision-making processes, enhance operational efficiencies, and contribute to our long-term strategic growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to production, sales, supply chain, and market trends. Provide actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency.
• Business Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within existing distillery processes, recommending data-driven solutions to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• Financial Analysis: Work closely with the finance team to analyse cost structures, monitor budgets, and assess profitability across different product lines.
• Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects, such as the implementation of new technologies or expansion plans.
• Dashboard Development: Create and maintain performance dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) for various departments, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to senior management, production teams, and other departments to influence strategic decisions.
• Forecasting: Assist with production and sales forecasting to support inventory management and distribution strategies.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Support the team in ensuring compliance with industry regulations and monitoring risks related to production and supply chain operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related fields.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and ERP systems.
  • Strong interest in the beverage, food, or manufacturing industry; previous experience in a distillery or FMCG environment is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is an advantage.
• Personal Skills:
  • Strong technical ability with problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
