Business Analyst

About the role The Business Analyst will help manage and assist in the implementation of the ERP system and processes at any new and acquired manufacturing facilities. This role will work closely with the Business to ensure an understanding of the needs to outline and define processes for mapping and training. This position will be based out of our Bristol, PA site but will involve travel to other Max locations. How you will contribute: • Gather requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis. • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources with the ability to distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements. Deliver the following artifacts as needed: Functional Requirements Documents, Business Requirements, Document, Technical requirements, Process Flows, Quick Reference Guides, Status Reports and Meetings Notes. • Development of GAP questions and lead GAP Analysis to determine Process and system gaps. • Escalation of risks and issue to leadership for quick resolution • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans • Assist QA with developing and executing testing plans as required • Independent management of small projects including requirements gathering, execution and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a timeline for deliverables • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. • Advocate the adoption of project management best practices within all departments. • Perform other job duties as assigned Education and Background • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or IT related field • 3+ years or more in Business Analyst role • 3+ years or more in an IT environment interfacing with both business and technical resources • Experience working in business transformation initiatives and projects • Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint) • Experience writing Functional Requirements Documents, Business Requirements, Document, Technical requirements, Process Flows, Quick Reference Guides, Status Reports and Meetings Notes • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to absorb and present large amounts of detail through various forms of communications to any level of business users, IT management or technical roles • Time management skills • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service • Asist in creation and timely completion of project schedule • Must be self-directed and able to work effectively in a teaming environment with little to no direct supervision • Ability to multi-task a must • Travel ~ 35% About Us Max Solutions, Inc. provides value added solutions for customers in the healthcare and consumer industries using the latest in technology and equipment.
