AvidXchange Summer Internship Program Overview
Throughout the program, Interns develop and grow through a series of experiences such as:
- Building business acumen to understand who we are, what we do, and the history of AvidXchange
- Establishing relationships with mentors and Intern Alumni, meeting with senior leaders and collaborating with cross-functional teams to complete capstone project.
- Volunteer opportunities to give back to the communities where live and work
- Workshops and learning experiences to learn more about our commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive environment where everyone belongs.
Location Preference: Charlotte, NC or regional office.
Work-from-home Flexibility: 2-3 days a week in office.
Internship Term/Duration:
Our summer internship program is a 9-week experience that will provide potential AvidXers with practical work experience and the chance to contribute to business results. The summer internship program begins with orientation on June 6th and concludes on August 4th. All internships are paid opportunities.
Job Overview:
As a Business Analysis Intern in the Product Management team, you will be the driving force of product enhancement and new application feature execution. In this role, you would work with our engineering and/or business teams alongside an experienced Product Manager.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with business and customer facing teams to solve key customer problems, challenges, or needs.
- Assist in defining product requirements and communicate those requirements to the product design and technology delivery teams.
- Guide engineering and design teams on product and application enhancements and specifications based on customer needs.
- Communicate the overall product strategy and vision, and work closely with product leaders to gain a deep understanding of the fintech industry, payment industry, and our customer segments.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies inclusive of daily sprints, backlog grooming sessions, product demonstrations, and team retrospective meetings.
- Partner with senior product and business leaders to understand the "why" behind each Feature and working with the leaders and Product Managers to understand the roadmap and supporting KPIs.
- Assist with projects that involve process mapping, customer research, competitive research, and/or data analysis.

Education Requirements
- Expected graduation date of December 2023 or May 2024
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required, major or cumulative
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- All majors are welcome to apply:
