Job Description
The ideal candidate for the Business Analyst position will have the skills and experience necessary to:
- Experience with Commercial Lending systems, processes, and Banking practices
- Provide data analysis to support, compile and report key information in staff development to support operations and business objectives
- Collaborate with business unit managers to assess staff development needs and provide recommendations key areas of development
- Review, analyze and evaluate business processes, procedures, and user needs.
- Produce, publish and distribute operational reports relating to staff operations performance and processes development
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for staff growth
- Drive processes and improvement initiatives by gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Perform and participate in the analysis, design, and delivery of solutions to enhance business processes and procedures.
- Deliver development sessions and prepare follow-up evaluations
- Conduct planning sessions, provide input for feasibility, and prepare development solutions
- Act as a liaison with various departments, management, and staff to resolve problems and improve processes and procedures.
- Perform project management leadership functions as a project manager or team member.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor's business, finance or a related field and some experience in business process analysis, gathering and documenting business requirements or other directly related experience.
- Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and/or process improvement recommendations.
- Some experience with project methodology. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
- Basic knowledge of business processes analysis, business workflow and process improvement recommendations.
- Basic knowledge of project techniques and practices.
- Knowledge of department specific processes, computer or systems applications or other knowledge skills or abilities may apply.
- Ability to solve problems including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data.
- Good analysis and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.
- Must be able to meet deadlines.
