Job Description:

IBM is seeking experienced and dynamic Technical Delivery Consultant to work directly with customer accounts and to customize extend and deploy IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA) software in customer environments.

The Consultant is a technical customer-facing role having paramount impact on customers’ experience with IBM’s FileNet IBM Business Automation Workflow IBM Operational Decision Manager IBM DataCap IBM Automation Document Processing IBM Robotic Process Automation software in customer environments. The position is responsible for an exciting range of projects solutions. The ideal candidate will have acquired hands-on software and systems engineering experience and be capable of providing consulting services in complex environments.

You will have excellent software and system design skills including knowledge of cloud-based applications Kubernetes and containers in Linux and Windows environments along with the ability to manage and support customized developments and implementations.

You are responsible for successfully deploying integration solution based on IBM Hybrid Cloud approach.

You will directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader serving as a liaison among business partners technical resources and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities – you will:

• Work with customers in various industries to deploy CP4BA solutions with particular focus on Red Hat OCP on multiple Cloud environments.
• Conduct health checks and recommend improvements in architecture or configuration based on IBM best practices.
• Perform Migration and Application Modernization
• Perform integration code review based on IBM best practices.
• Design and develop integration flows using IBM software to fulfil customer’s integration requirements.
• Conduct enablement sessions on IBM software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design and configuration issues in the customer’s environment.

You will also be responsible for or should have:

• Installation and administration of standalone IBM Business Automation tools
• RedHat OCP installation and operations
• Good familiarity with application network and data security topics such as authentication authorization identity providers user registries SSO TLS encryption.
• Knowledge in applying patches and upgrades on CP4BA
• Infrastructure design or integration of application engineering solutions
• Familiarity with popular public cloud architectures capabilities and key components (IBM Cloud AWS Azure) including hybrid architectures
• Understanding of Kubernetes and containers technologies
• Understanding of the concepts of high availability backup and restore and disaster recovery regarding applications in cloud environments
• Creating/supporting the formulation of statement of work (SOW). Assessing duration/activities/resources/prerequisites involved in an engagement

Key Requirements:

• Application development and/or systems engineering experience including automation and scripting
• Technical support or consulting client-facing experience preferably with an organization serving mission-critical operations
• Proven Project Management skills to provide implementation schedules while adhering to company’s architectural standards and principles
• Proven technical leadership (Architecture Design Development oversight) and team leadership (planning collaboration conflict resolution driving results) on both small and large technology projects
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration
• Experience developing and deploying solutions in a High Availability environment
• Hands-on experience with AWS MS Azure and/or other cloud computing platforms
• Hands-on experience configuring VMware (Workstation / ESXi) environments
• Knowledge of directory service configuration (LDAP and Windows Active Directory)
• Knowledge of Security best practices
• Leadership skills is a plus
