About the job:
We are seeking a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Specialist who transcends the traditional bureaucratic role to become a fundamental pillar in optimizing our processes and ensuring effective outcomes. In this position, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and testing business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring that Cloudwalk can quickly face and recover from any adversities. This role is for those who truly wish to make a difference, bringing agility and innovation to the business continuity sphere in a startup environment.
 



Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for crisis management, including detailed action plans for various disaster scenarios.
  • Develop and conduct regular tests of the business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure their effectiveness and readiness.
  • Work closely with all areas of the company to understand specific needs and integrate business continuity practices into existing processes, promoting improvements and innovation.
  • Ensure that all aspects of business continuity and disaster recovery are aligned with the demands for agility and speed of a rapidly growing startup.
  • Implement proactive solutions to minimize risks and ensure operational resilience.
  • Empower the team with business continuity knowledge and practices, creating a culture of readiness and resilience.



Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in business continuity and disaster recovery, with the ability to develop and implement effective plans.
  • Innovative mindset, capable of transforming bureaucratic processes into agile and efficient procedures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging multi-functional teams.
  • Agility in learning and adaptation, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in startups or fintech environments is highly desirable, with an understanding of the need for speed and flexibility.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese, with additional project management skills being a plus.
  • Desirable proficiency in SQL, capable of using data to inform and improve business continuity-related decisions.
  • Desirable knowledge of programming.
