Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Data Analyst to join the Operation & strategy team. As part of a team focused on optimization, efficiency, and strategy, you will be dedicated to Data at PlayPlay and work closely with a Data engineer to support you.


This is a highly impactful role for the company: as a first Business Data Analyst, you will spearhead the implementation of our data architecture from collection to visualization playing a key role in building a solid foundation for our strategic decisions and future growth.


The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving the acquisition strategy as well as improving customer retention.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data Collection & Management : Collaborate with the Data Engineer to ensure clean, accurate, and accessible data.
  • Set-up Tableau BI our new tool for Data Visualisation
  • Assess and improve existing data sources
  • identify gaps and implement solutions

  • Analytics & Insights : Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor business performance.
  • Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to uncover opportunities and inform strategic decisions

  • Data Strategy : Partner with leadership to define and execute a data analytics roadmap.
  • Define key metrics (KPIs) and build a company-wide data glossaryFoster a data-driven culture by empowering teams through training and resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advances in the field of data, identifying opportunities for innovation and stimulating decision-making. (AI, machine learning, etc.)

COMPETENCIES

  •  At least +5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency with data languages (Python/R, SQL) and data tools (Tableau, Power BI, Big Query, DBT).
  • Experience in project management 
  • Knowledge of ETL and data modelisation 
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ideally previous experience in a scale-up environment
  • Good communication skills for articulating complex ideas
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively 
  • Fluent in french and english
