Business Data Analyst

Data Analyst Location:New York, NY (Hybrid — 3 days in office) Compensation:$75,000–$95,000 Experience Level:1–3 years About SeatScope SeatScope helps people get into the live events they love. We source and sell tickets for live events, using data to make smart, timely purchasing decisions and to continuously improve pricing and operations. The Role We’re looking for an early-career Data Analyst who learns fast and thrives in a dynamic, high-signal environment. You’ll analyze event markets daily, build dashboards that guide buying decisions, and surface opportunities to improve our data and operations. You’ll work closely with the CEO and our team of purchasers to identify and execute buys, and with our development team to scale and optimize our data systems. What You’ll Do • Monitor event supply/demand and pricing daily; flag and support high-ROI buying opportunities. • Partner with purchasers to translate insights into timely event buys and clear post-mortems. • Build and maintain dashboards (pricing, sell-through, margin, inventory turns). • Turn messy data into clear recommendations for business and ops stakeholders. • Collaborate with the development team to improve data models, pipelines, and reliability (e.g., warehouse/dbt/ETL hygiene). • Run lightweight experiments (A/B or holdout-style) to refine pricing and buys. Schedule Hybrid: 3 days per week in our New York office.
