Business Development Associate

The Business Development Associate will be an integral part of Sinclair's state, local and federal business unit, Free State Strategic Services. They will be responsible for prospecting, contract administration, and coordination between multiple business units across Sinclair. The overarching goal of this position is to help the team drive business and increase revenue from state, local, and federal government agencies.

Daily Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Conduct prospecting for bids/proposals across multiple state, local, and federal contracting sites
• Qualifying bids/proposals that have been identified by market leads
• Develop proposal templates in coordination with market leads
• Submit and manage proposals through ContractHub system for approval
• Develop case studies and provide write-ups on past campaign success stories
• Provide updates and manage Free State's social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter)
• Manage proposal templates through Adobe InDesign and Photoshop

Qualifications:

• One to two years work experience (this may include corporate summer internships)
• Strong writing and organizational skills
• Interest in digital advertising and marketing
• Interest in higher education or healthcare marketing
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing and communications, or similar field

The Business Development Associate position is an entry-level position into one of Sinclair's most business exciting units. This role is a hybrid position where the employee will be required to visit our corporate office at 10173 Gilroy Rd, Cockeysville, MD 21030 a minimum of three times per week. The employee will work alongside the team at Compulse, Sinclair's full-service digital marketing and advertising agency, and will be familiarized with the policies and procedures of both Sinclair and Compulse.

The hourly compensation range for this role is $23.07 to $27.88. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
