Business Development Director

Position Title: Business Development Manager / Director – EMS Industry Location: San Jose Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager/Director with a strong background in the EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) industry. This role will focus on expanding our customer base in North America and Asia, developing strategic growth initiatives, and fostering strong relationships with clients and internal teams across both regions. Key Responsibilities: • Initiate contact with potential clients to build relationships and schedule meetings, specifically targeting EMS industry prospects. • Plan, develop, and execute innovative marketing initiatives to drive business growth. • Conduct research on organizations and individuals to identify new business opportunities. • Increase the value of existing customers while actively acquiring new clients for Asia and USA manufacturing facilities. • Attend industry conferences, meetings, and networking events to represent the company and build brand presence. • Develop and present accurate, competitive quotes and proposals tailored to client needs. • Set and achieve business development and growth goals, monitoring progress and adapting strategies as needed. • Train and mentor team members to enhance their business development skills and capabilities. • Collaborate closely with counterparts in Asia and the USA to support customer acquisition and ongoing business development efforts in the North American region. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. • Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development within the EMS or manufacturing industries. • Familiarity with PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) or box assembly process flows is highly desirable. • Experience working in manufacturing or EMS sectors in roles such as sales, program management, procurement, or operations. • Strong customer networking and relationship management skills. • Excellent communication skills and IT proficiency. • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills. • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and navigate uncertainty effectively. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
