Position Summary

We're a leader in the pet care category and part of the world's largest food company-so you can imagine our salesforce is BIG. In pet care, we focus our sales efforts within the retail and veterinary sales channels to ensure we're at the forefront of consumers' minds. You'll become the expert in our products and the face behind Purina brands to your customers-some of the most well recognized and loved brands around world.

As the Business Development Manager of Capabilities, you will oversee the advancing Purina Sales' analytical capabilities with speed and scale. You will be a vital part of the sales organization by navigating the industry to identify gaps and opportunities in the tools that we use throughout the company. You will collaborate with Sales Teams to optimize current category capabilities and define new areas of opportunity.

• Proactively identifies marketplace, channel, and customer distribution and omni shelf opportunities
• Completes analytics and develops recommendations for organizational distribution changes
• Provides localized market and assortment solutions
• Displays mastery of shelf and distribution analytics tools
• Ability to advance shelf and distribution capabilities, through automation and new tool development
• Provides external insights and recommendations on emerging digital shelf analytic capabilities
• Identifies key KPI's for digital shelf measurements
• Collaborates with local teams to drive speed to insight through automated reporting and capabilities
• Ability to train and upskill associates on enhanced shelving and distribution capabilities
• Delivers automated reporting and insights on distribution & shelf trends for Purina and the Pet Category

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• 3+ years' experience with business analytics
• 1+ years' experience in Richmix, JDA, Space Planning and Syndicated Data
• 1+ years' experience in Microsoft self-service platform (Power Bi, Power Automate, Power Apps), SAP, and Business Objects
