What We Do:

Primordial Labs is building Anura, the next-generation human-machine interface. Anura allows operators to command, control and collaborate with uncrewed systems through natural language, just like they would with a human teammate. Our job is to make it easier for warfighters to wield the power of autonomous systems on the battlefield. 

Job Description:

(Please Note: This is a 100% remote position that requires residence in the United States) 

We are looking for a teammate who will partner with the Air Force to deliver our technology to warfighters. You’ll be expected to source and close opportunities for Anura across Air Force programs. As the face of Primordial Labs within the Department of the Air Force, you’ll have the opportunity to advocate for a more human-centric approach to autonomy with DAF Executives, USAF HQ, MAJCOMS, PEOs, AFWERX, AFRL and others. 

What You'll Do:

You will lead and grow our business in the U.S. Air Force. We are a young startup, and you will be expected to collaborate across business functions to ensure we are optimally positioned to address Air Force mission needs.

  • Responsible for all stages of customer interactions from initial contact, through final sales, and follow-up.
  • Partner with customers to create novel solutions to address their capability gaps.
  • Build awareness for Primordial Labs across the Air Force.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline to meet company revenue goals. 
  • Work with industry partners to incorporate our technology into their solutions.
  • Travel in support of trade shows, demos, and customer meetings (~50% travel).

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant military, government, or private sector experience
  • Ability to lead and autonomously execute within the company’s strategy
  • Dogged determination to overcome obstacles and deliver for the warfighter
  • Expertise in DoD acquisition processes
  • Proven track record selling to the USAF or managing complex programs in the government or military 
  • Experience or familiarity with next-generation Air Force programs, such as Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD), Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA), and Adaptive Airborne Enterprise (A2E)
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance

Nice-to-have Qualifications:

  • Experience operating in a high-growth startup environment
  • Operational experience flying fighter aircraft or UAS
  • Experience partnering with DAF innovation organizations, such as AFWERX or AFRL

Application Process:

We have a three-stage interview process.

The first stage is a screener which is a combination of introductions, screening of qualifications, discussion of the role, and confirmation of mutual interest regarding the role and specific expectations. This takes about 20-30 minutes. 

After the screener, if both sides believe it makes sense, we will conduct a round 2 interview. This interview will be proficiency focused. We want to understand your knowledge, skills, and experiences and how they relate to our specific business needs. We appreciate gaining as much evidence-based insights into your capabilities as we can. This generally takes 45-60 minutes.
The Round 3 interview is focused on culture fit, gaining additional perspectives, and answering follow-ups regarding any areas of interest identified in your resume or in either preceding interview. This takes about 45-60 minutes. Following this interview, you can expect a decision from us within one week.
