Purpose and location of the role
As Business Executive you will support the Managing Director (MD) of Cementbouw/VVM (Benelux), Denmark Materials and Spain to ensure that the OpCo's goals and objectives are accomplished, and operations run efficiently. On behalf of the MD you will manage a number of complex projects and strategic initiatives. Your work may take place at various locations in Europe such as the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and Spain.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Support the MD to integrate the leading initiatives as directed by the related Management Teams (MTs).
• Support the MTs to embed the highest levels of performance through OpEx/ComEx/Procurement Excellence initiatives.
• Support the MTs in building up their development business cases.
• Lead the MTs' meeting agenda, facilitating, inputting to strategic decisions and driving outputs and action plans.
• Lead the MTs communication plan towards employees (quarterly meetings) within the Benelux and Denmark.
• Build effective working relationships with MT members and other senior executives in CRH, ensuring alignment, sharing of best practices, innovation and optimisation at all opportunities
• Maintain and refine internal processes that support the MD.
• Plan and orchestrate work to ensure the MD's priorities are met, business goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld.

Our perfect candidate
You have a Master's degree (or equivalent) and several years of experience as a Business Executive. You have excellent communication skills (in Dutch and English) with the ability to communicate at all levels. You are flexible, discrete, reliable and able to adapt easily. You have organisational skills and the ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities. You are eager to learn. In addition, you have strong commercial and financial acumen, you are data- and people driven and you are pragmatic with great attention to detail and focused on high-quality results.
