Location: Hybrid, 0-3 times per month in office. The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

Responsible for developing and executing complex data mining analyses, which involves the design and execution of programs to extract data.

How you will make an impact:

• Working on production control monitoring.
• Coordination between teams, for problem resolution.
• Analyzes and classifies change requests, identifies, and documents possible system code enhancement suggestions.
• Develops and performs system testing and fixes defects identified during testing and re-executes unit tests to validate results.
• Provides on call support and monitors the system for semi-complex issues as needed.
• Review production triage and provide or review resolutions.
• Owns the change request process and may coordinate with other teams as necessary.
• May own technical testing to ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan.
• Work on Production Support issues to meet SLA on a daily basis.
• Actively involve in various release management activities like preparing detailed back out plan, creating change ticket, conducting walk through, co-ordination with Release Management team during the course of Production migration and post migration support.
• Manage ongoing support of the systems for any break occurrences, including identifying the cause of the problem, identifying, developing, testing, and installing the fix to the system.

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 2 years related analytical experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

• PC, spreadsheet, and database skills strongly preferred.
• 3 years of experience working with large data warehouses and different warehousing technologies including Teradata preferred.
• 3 years of experience with data flow (ETL) process architecture, design, build and test for analytic software solutions using RDBMS (Teradata), Informatica, Unix strongly preferred.
• Familiarity of working on production operational environment, job monitoring, incident management preferred.
• Experience on projects and deliverables with parallel environments preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $76,640 to $137,952

Locations: California; Colorado; Nevada; Washington State; Jersey City, NJ; New York City, NY; Ithaca, NY and Westchester County, NY.
