What You'll Do

We're looking for a Business Project Lead to join our Benefits & Protection- Business Optimization PSI team. In this role, you'll Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements related to the most complex systems, products and services; drive change within the business unit!

  • Lead and coordinate major components on a project through implementation; may serve as a project manager. Provide business expertise on a variety of topics and projects, including testing and data analysis. Represent management on assigned functional committees.
  • Implement new policies, procedures, workflow approaches, and system enhancements.
  • Develop, document, and maintain communication, documentation, and training through a variety of methods and mediums.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to internal and external customers.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 6+ years related experience
  • Requires a strong knowledge of all aspects of a full-service Broker-Dealer and Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) operations.
  • FINRA Series 7, 24, or 66 License(s) may be required with the ability to meet firm standards for registration within applicable jurisdictions.
  • You'll be required to become a non-registered fingerprint person of Principal Securities Incorporated (PSI)

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range

$63750 - $121200 / year

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Environments

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC). You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
