Your Role and Responsibilities

A Test Specialist often referred to as a Testing Specialist or Quality Assurance Specialist is a professional who specializes in the testing phase of the software development life cycle. Their role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products or a project’s deliverables.
You will understand and use what types of test tools are available today (e.g. Defect Tracking Test Case Management Project Tracking Risk/Issue tracking Test Reporting). You will also learn and utilize a testing automation tools to execute the testing by the demand of clients.

In this role you will:

Execute test case (manual or automated) to ensure software applications function as intended across various banking modules including account opening transactions lending etc.
Participate in all testing phases including unit integration system performance and user acceptance testing.
Identify log track and report defects and issues using bug tracking tools.
Analyze test results and create detailed problem reports.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure issues are prioritized and resolved in a timely manner. Develop and maintain test plans test cases test scripts and other QA documentation.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

1+ years of experience in software testing specifically in the banking domain.
Understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Banking industry knowledge required.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium is a plus.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Strong knowledge and project experience in core-banking sy stem
Experience using a combination of third-party and open source tools to test automation solutions
Experience in group/business/project unit level full-end testing solutions
