Job Title: Master Plumber License Required
Job Summary:
The Master Plumber or HVAC is responsible for overseeing and managing all plumbing-related activities, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires advanced technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations. A Master Plumber ensures high-quality plumbing services while supervising journeyman plumbers and apprentices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plumbing or HVAC System Installation & Maintenance:
• Install and maintain piping systems for water, gas, and waste in residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
• Inspect and diagnose plumbing issues and recommend solutions or repairs.
• Design and plan plumbing systems, ensuring they are up to code and meet all safety requirements.
• Supervision & Leadership:
• Supervise, train, and mentor journeyman plumbers and apprentices.
• Delegate tasks and manage work schedules for plumbing teams.
• Provide guidance on complex plumbing issues and ensure the work is completed efficiently and accurately.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure that plumbing or HVAC work adheres to local and state plumbing codes and regulations.
• Obtain necessary permits for plumbing projects and ensure inspections are passed.
• Stay updated on changes in plumbing codes, tools, techniques, and safety protocols.
• Customer Interaction:
• Communicate with clients to assess plumbing or HVAC needs, explain issues, and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
• Address customer concerns and ensure the highest level of service and satisfaction.
• Problem Solving:
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex plumbing issues related to leaks, clogged drains, water pressure, and piping systems.
• Ensure plumbing systems are functioning efficiently and address any potential hazards.
• Inventory & Equipment Management:
• Maintain and organize tools, materials, and inventory required for plumbing projects.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
Qualifications:
• Education:High school diploma or equivalent; formal plumbing education from an accredited trade school is preferred.
• Experience:Minimum of 5-10 years of plumbing experience, with at least 3 years as a journeyman plumber.
• Licenses/Certifications:
• State-issued C-36 or C-20 active license
• Additional certifications (e.g., backflow prevention) may be required.

• HVAC LIcense CA C-20 Required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $2,500.00 - $2,700.00 per month
Schedule:
• Day shift
