CSG's Converged Mediation R&D group, a part of the Ascendon organization, is adding to its server-side team in Brazil.

This team is responsible for maintaining and expanding CSG's online and offline mediation capability, directly at customer sites and in support of CSG’s cloud based digital BSS Ascendon Platform.

 We are looking for a C Software Developer who will:

• You will assist in designing, coding, and testing software applications.
• You will collaborate with senior developers and learn best practices & professional concepts.
• You will debug and fix software issues under supervision.
• You will use a basic understanding of programming languages and software development concepts.

Is this opportunity right for you? We’re looking for candidates who:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Some software development experience in the C programming language or course work in C
• Proficiency in English in a business environment is a must.
• It would be helpful, but is not required, to have:

• Experience in a Unix-based environment.
• Experience with Red Hat Linux.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with network programming.
• Familiarity with SQL databases (e.g. Oracle, Postgres).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker.
• Agile software development practices (SAFe, DevOps).
• Troubleshooting and customer support.
