Job Description

Job Summary:

This position will facilitate and participate in regular full-cycle recruitment activities and early-talent campus recruitment initiatives for Viterra. This role will partner and work heavily with Viterra's North American Grain business, supporting talent acquisition needs across the United States in the Agricultural industry.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Source, screen & qualify candidates, reviewing applications and evaluate work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications of applicants
  • Coordinate interviews & schedules, booking candidate travel when needed
  • Work with hiring managers to create, review, and post approved positions, collaborating on the recruitment strategy that will be used
  • Lead campus recruiting programming and execution
  • Provide support to Viterra's summer intern program
  • Consult other members of the Human Resource Team to recommend pay rates & terms of employment
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with 3rd-party recruitment resources, reviewing contract agreements and working with Legal department as needed
  • Prepare & distribute offer letters
  • Extend offers and close position requisitions
  • Maintain applicant tracking system
  • EEO/AAP/OFCCP tracking and reporting
  • Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings and completing assignments

Other Job Functions:

  • Other duties as assigned by the Human Resource department

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Ability to work and interact well with others
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in recruiting, including campus recruiting
  • Bachelor's degree in business, or related field required
  • Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, & Word
  • Ability to travel
  • High energy individual who is flexible and willing to learn
  • Ability to research, problem-solve, and find plausible solutions

Special Demands:

  • Ability to travel up to 60% of time during peak recruiting seasons (fall and spring university recruitment)
  • Position requires operation of a computer and other standard office equipment, such as a copy machine, calculator, computer printer, phone up to 90% of the time
  • Frequently communicates with employees and customers in the office and at remote locations
