Your responsibilities as a Card Disputes & Discrepancies Representative: • Manage credit/debit card disputes & discrepancies, ensuring all issues are resolved efficiently and accurately. • Review member-submitted disputes, assess liability (including an understanding of Regulation E), and input details into applicable systems. • Analyze and correct card reports when they are out of balance, escalating issues to PSCU or other applicable systems as necessary. • Balance accounts with an understanding of general ledger basics, which includes managing debits and credits. • Utilize Excel proficiently for data management and analysis. • Work independently & collaboratively to manage tasks and shifting priorities throughout the day. • Communicate effectively with members to gather necessary information when investigating issues. What You Bring: • Experience:A high school diploma or equivalent is required, one (1) year of experience in credit/debit card disputes/discrepancies, balancing accounts & general ledger functions, preferably in a financial institution. • Passion for Service:Support our credit union's mission, vision, and values with your dedication to delivering exceptional service to our members. • Analytical Skills:Demonstrate strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify trends and discrepancies.
