Job Description
The division of Cardiac Surgery within the Heart and Vascular Center at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire is recruiting an early-career adult cardiac surgeon. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of active clinical experience in adult cardiac surgery. The candidate will be interested in working with a team oriented, highly collegial, group of 3 other cardiac surgeons. The division currently treats the full spectrum of adult cardiac disease with the exception of durable LVAD and transplant. We are interested in individuals with a record of academic productivity who wish to continue the same. The Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is the primary teaching hospital for the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and our division plays an integral role in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows within the institution.
Position Overview:
- Section includes four cardiac surgeons and eight advanced practice providers
- Integrated, multispecialty system offers collaboration with Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, Thoracic Surgery
- Academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College at the Assistant or associate Professor level commensurate with experience and qualifications

Qualifications:
- Hold an MD, DO, or equivalent degree
- BC/BE in Thoracic Surgery
- Must obtain and maintain an NH medical license
