Triad Cardiothoracic Surgery, in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a well-trained, highly motivated Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our well-established group.  Experience in Mitral Valve and Structural heart surgery, TAVR, TEVAR, and ventricular assist devices are preferred. 

Opportunity Highlights:

Triad Cardiothoracic Surgery is an outstanding hospital-employed practice that provides a full range of Cardiothoracic Surgical Services and inpatient care at The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, the flagship hospital of Cone Health. Our cardiothoracic surgical team will include five ABTS-certified surgeons.  Our program has achieved 3-star rating from the STS for overall CABG quality for 10 of the last 12 years, and 3-star rating for both AVR and AVR+CABG the past 5 years in a row.  We perform 500-600 major cardiac procedures annually, and our volume has been steadily increasing due to growth in valve repair and replacement, minimally invasive surgery, TAVR, and our LVAD program.  We offer a multidisciplinary thoracic oncology program in our cancer center, and we routinely partner with our vascular surgery colleagues for TEVAR and other hybrid aortic procedures. Our hospital has state-of-the-art operating rooms including 3 dedicated cardiac rooms, another hybrid operating room with full cardiac capabilities, and a fifth room designed for complex thoracic procedures.  For additional program information, please visit Heart & Vascular Surgery | Cone Health.  

Qualifications: 

BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon (must be BC if out of training more than 5 years), will have an unrestricted NC medical license and DEA, obtain medical staff privileges and credentialing, and other employment requirements.  The ideal candidate will perform both cardiac and/or thoracic procedures, combine solid training and experience with an excellent bedside manner, and be committed to providing patient-focused care.
