Carpenter

We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientedCarpenterto join our team. The ideal candidate will haveat least 5 years of DIVERSIFIED professional carpentry experience, possess their own tools, and have the ability to drive to various job locations. This role involves working onboth residential and commercial properties, performing high-quality construction, repairs, and installations. As a Carpenter with MSB Disaster Recovery Services, you will play a vital role in restoring and improving properties, ensuring all work meets our high standards of craftsmanship and safety. Duties include – • Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wood and other materials for framing, finishing, and custom builds. • Repairing or replacing damaged structures, cabinetry, doors, windows, trim, and other fixtures. • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and project plans. • SAFELYoperating and maintaining a variety of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery. • Performing demolition work as needed before repairs or installations. • Ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and building codes. • Collaborating with project managers, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth project flow. • Photo and written documentation of project progress. • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment. • Driving to job locations using personal or company vehicle. • Maintaining a clean and organized job site. • Ability to work overtime, including some weekends. • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks. Skills & Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience (residential and/or commercial). • Proficiency with both rough and finish carpentry. • Ability to work from technical drawings and blueprints. • Knowledge of building codes, safety practices, and proper material usage. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Excellent communication skills for client and team interactions. • Possession of personal carpentry tools is a plus. • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. • Ability to pull a trailer is a plus! • Willingness to undergo background check, physical, and drug screening. • English (Required) • Spanish is a plus but not required Expected Hours:40 per week(ABILITY/WILLINGNESS TO WORK OVERTIME A PLUS) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off Experience: • Carpentry: 5 years (Required) License/Certification: • Driver's License (Required) Work Location: On the road
