Carpenter

Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in the restoration industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be adept at building and restoring structures. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, sheetrock plywood, and wallboard. • Painting, tape and float. • Perform restoration tasks including mold remediation and other repairs as needed. • Execute tile laying for flooring and wall applications. • Frame metal studs for walls and ceilings as part of remodeling projects. • Hang doors and install hardware to ensure proper functionality. • Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects efficiently. • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Experience • Proven experience in carpentry, particularly within the restoration industry. • Familiarity with mold remediation techniques is highly desirable. • Proficiency in tile laying, metal stud framing, maintenance person tasks, and door hanging. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. • Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship in all completed work. • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
