Job Overview We are seeking a skilled freelance Carpenters to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing all carpentry projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely completion. Responsibilities Setting the tempo on the shop floor for other full time carpenters to follow. Skills Extensive knowledge of building materials. Lamination of Formica/Chemetal to various substrates. Knowledge of all hand tools, shop tools and machinery and their applications. Ability to read technical drawings, create cut lists, use best known practices to assemble pieces designed by clients, draftspersons and project managers. Strong background in theatrical/event fabrication is a plus.
