Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and be comfortable working on construction sites. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting and work collaboratively with other tradespeople. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Duties • Perform metal stud framing for walls and partitions. • Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete carpentry tasks efficiently. • Hang doors and install door hardware with precision. • Execute flooring installation, ensuring a high-quality finish. • Conduct construction painting as needed to enhance the appearance of structures. • Assemble cabinets and other wooden fixtures according to specifications. • Collaborate with team members on various construction projects to ensure timely completion. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site. Requirements • Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. • Proficiency in metal stud framing, door hanging, flooring installation, cabinet installation, and construction painting. • Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry tasks. • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor as required by the job. • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Familiarity with safety protocols on construction sites is essential.
