carpenter for scenic studio

Theatrical scenery shop looking for experienced and highly skilled shop carpenter to join our team. A background in finish carpentry ,cabinet and laminating is all that's really needed. Candidates must be able to work long and flexible hours, including weekends. Must be able to read drawings, be able to create your own layouts & generate cut lists. Must have a working knowledge of industry standard shop tools. Candidates must have their own hand tools. Must be able to handle a fast paced environment. Must on occasion be able to take the lead on a project from just a simple rendering. A plus for ideal candidate is a work history in the film, television and theatrical scenery fabrication fields. Must have OSHA 10 Certification. Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
