This role involves performing a variety of residential carpentry tasks, including framing, trim, cabinetry, and finishing work, along with professional tile installation in kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas. Responsibilities: • Perform residential carpentry work, including framing, installing doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and custom woodwork. • Install and repair tile (ceramic, porcelain, stone, etc.) in kitchens, bathrooms, and other residential spaces. • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials and layout. • Measure, cut, and assemble materials with accuracy and precision. • Ensure all work meets safety standards, building codes, and company quality requirements. • Repair, replace, or remodel existing carpentry and tile features as needed. • Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively. • Collaborate with team members, contractors, and homeowners to complete projects on time and within scope. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications: • Minimum of 4+ years of residential carpentry experience. • Provenexperience in tile installation, including layout, cutting, and finishing. • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and building codes. • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. • Proficiency with hand and power tools. • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as required. Preferred: Experience in other residential trades (drywall, painting, flooring, tiling etc.). OSHA or safety training certifications. Work Environment and Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds regularly; heavier loads may require team lifting or equipment. • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling and climbing • Exposure to varied weather conditions • Work may take place in hot, cold, dusty or noisy environments depending on the season and location • Comfortable working in fast-paced settings with tight deadlines • Required to operate power tools and cutting equipment to perform tasks. • Ability to use and climb ladders or lifts at various heights.
