Carpentry Supervisor

Xtreme Cubes in Henderson, Nevada, is seeking a Carpentry Supervisor to join our team! JOB SUMMARY The Carpentry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of a carpentry work team. The Supervisor will ensure that tasks are completed in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner, while also leading and motivating team members. The Supervisor will also be responsible for inspecting work and materials as well as providing guidance and support to crew members. The ideal candidate will have excellent carpentry skills, strong leadership abilities, and the ability to work independently. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding specifications. • Knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction. • Good communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to keep accurate records of materials, labor and other costs. • Overseeing carpentry, ensuring quality craftsmanship and timely completion. • Supervise carpenters to ensure safety and quality in the performance of assigned tasks. • Coordinates and prioritizes shop and field work. • Maintains paperwork as necessary for the operation of the carpentry department (may include time punches, assembly schedule, tool list, etc.). • Experience in carpentry, knowledge of safety regulations, and strong leadership skills. QUALIFICATIONS • A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate’s degree or higher in management is preferred. • 5+ years of carpentry experience required; 1+ years in a supervisory capacity preferred. • Leadership and communication skills are essential.
