Cash Applications Specialist

We are looking for a Cash Applications Specialist to join our Cash Applications Team in Hyderabad. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Cash flow and Unapplied Cash clearing. The team consists of 15-1 people and is reporting to the Supervisor, Cash Applications. We have a great skill set in the team and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in Cash Applications and have excellent attention to detail and the confidence to liaise with internal teams and regional stakeholders.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• At least 2 years’ experience in Cash Applications role.
• Bachelors degree in BBA, B.Com , Post Graduate MBA Preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge – MS Excel
• Good to have Oracle, NetSuite and Salesforce knowledge.

It would be great if you also had . . .  

• Working Knowledge of O2C process would be an added advantage.
• Worked on special projects on automation.

What will you be doing in this role? 

• Download bank statements from multiple online banking portals (if necessary)
• Responsible for the recording of all cash receipts, wire transfers and other cash related entries in the ERP
• Perform Extensive Research to resolve Unapplied Cash Receipts, as assigned.
• Process write-offs and refunds as per the set process.
• Process the Intercompany transfers on time.
• Post Journals and perform month end reconciliations.
• Work with Collections, Accounting, and stakeholders to resolve customer Queries.
• Ensure that the E-mails are responded within 24 hours.
• Provide supporting for Audit Questions/UAT Support
• Engaging with Customer Service in resolving complex customer queries
• Additional duties as assigned.

Hours of Work  

45 working hours a week with Shift timing 2 PM – 11 PM IST and this is a permanent role.
