Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. Your responsibilities will include managing transactions, assisting customers with inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others. 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM Duties • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer transactions. • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns. • Assist in merchandising products effectively to enhance store presentation. • Perform stocking duties to ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized. • Utilize retail math skills for accurate cash handling and register operations. • Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. • Maintain phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries over the phone. • Ensure compliance with all store policies and procedures. Skills • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively. • Proficiency in cash handling and cashiering procedures. • Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. • Experience in retail sales, including knowledge of grocery store operations. • Ability to perform merchandising tasks effectively. • Bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer needs. • Excellent communication skills to foster positive interactions with customers.
