What YouWill Learn:

Responsible for levering in-depth categoryanalysis and retailer/market data and insights to optimize marketingmix/assortment and to uncover portfolio growth opportunities for our retailersand distributors. This role manages and focuses on growing multiple brandswithin a category focus and team development and synergies. Lead and develop ways to analyze point ofsales data, meet with internal customers/retailers-clients/distributors, andreview merchandising strategies aiming to support an elevated look of successat trade.

  • Direct supervision of Category Analysts and oversee the coordinationof 3rd Party resources to cover cosmetic seasonal implementationsand personal care categories.
  • Manage short- and mid-term strategy needs of the product/brandportfolio aligned with Brand Management.
  • Manage and develop people or teams; work transversal with otherfunctional teams (Commercial, Marketing and Logistics) across LDB and CPD.
  • Responsible for maintaining and improving distribution level andspace at shelf along with the Commercial Team working collaboratively andtransversal.
  • Contribute to category/brand selling stories and insights intoaction leveraging the Advisory Role with Key Customers and customer's category discussion.
  • Directly support recommendations on innovation pipeline aiming toimprove new products forecast accuracy. This applies for Brand Management andDemand Planning on product mix analysis when needed.
  • Champion scorecard for planogram execution and performance KPIs(space to sales, distribution level, merchandising, days on hand, A/S/W metricsfor SKU productivity).
  • Constant collaboration to support commercial planning, speciallymanaging the Cosmetic Wall Universe and potential growth plans.
  • Identify growth opportunities by region and along with the BusinessDevelopment Managers. This is a direct input for the annual CAPEX projectionsby brand.
  • Direct contributor to our sustainability journey(reduce-reuse-recycle) and L'Oreal for the Future initiatives that support anelevated cosmetic fixture approach plans by top retailers and top brands.

What We AreLooking For:

RequiredQualifications:• Bachelor's degree in BusinessAdministration is required or related disciplines.

  • Minimum five plus years of experience in category management,marketing, or sales or related position. Beauty and Personal Care categoryknowledge is highly preferred.
  • Financial knowledge - i.e. P&L and COG management.
  • Market Research: Ability to interpret research data and draw applicationconclusions
  • Leadership: Demonstration ofleadership with team, support departments and customers, and fosterscollaboration.
  • Proficient in MicrosoftOffice programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook) with excellent knowledge ofExcel, Analyzer and business applications

  • Certified Professional CategoryManager (CPCM) and Certified Professional Strategic Advisor are preferred.
  • Communicates clearly andconcisely in English / Spanish orally and written.
  • Fully Bilingual (Spanish/English)

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident with decision making and project management.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and interpersonal skills.
