CDL C Delivery Driver

CDL C Driver needed in San Diego, CA to drive anAutomatic 30-foot Stake Bed delivering Electrical parts very small to 8-foot-tall enclosures Monday thru Friday 5:00am - 1:30 pm Job Description: -Will drive to customer sites, replenish material at site and scan for needed material for next day’s delivery. -Drive approximately 30 miles per day. -Will also do Warehouse work, forklift, labeling product, picking material, stocking, paperwork, manifests, loading and unloading trucks - Utilize Company vehicle to make deliveries according to manifest. - Utilize technology to maintain logs and records, and to obtain customer signature. - Verify the material that is being delivered is accurate and in excellent condition. - Help to resolve delivery issues by communicating with dispatch team regularly. - Conduct daily inspection of vehicle to ensure safe operation. - Lifting approximately 60 pounds and will use pallet jacks, dolly, hand truck, and forklifts. - Wear Long Pants (no shorts) and Steel toe shoes Need: -A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and DOT Medical Card. - Excellent customer service skills and inter-personal communication. - Attention to detail and good time management skills. - Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. - Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to exercise safety while carrying out all job responsibilities. Physical Requirements and Work Environment: - The ability to drive a commercial vehicle for short and long periods of time and sit in one position for an extended period. - Flexibility and mobility to move in and out of vehicle to load and unload material. - The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 60 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment. - There is exposure to outdoor weather while loading and unloading the vehicle.
