CDL Class A Driver

Key responsibilities • Operating Tanker Trucks:Driving tanker trucks safely, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. • Inspections:Performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and equipment are in safe operating condition, and documenting any defects or maintenance needs. • Loading and Unloading:Carefully and safely loading and unloading liquid or gaseous cargo, potentially including hazardous materials, using hoses and following established procedures. • Cargo Management:Checking and monitoring the cargo and tanker during transport to prevent leaks or other issues. • Documentation:Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and cargo documentation, and ensuring compliance with DOT and company policies. • Communication:Communicating effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers, providing updates on delivery status and reporting any issues or concerns. • Safety Compliance:Strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations for handling and transporting hazardous materials. • Customer Service:Maintaining professionalism and courteous interactions with customers during deliveries.
