Job Description

As the Central Head of R&D, you will be at the heart of our Central R&D team, working closely with our marketing and insights teams to deliver cutting-edge innovations towards healthier offerings for consumers and retailers. You will lead a team of two, ensuring that all R&D activities are aligned with consumer needs and business strategy. Your role will be instrumental in fostering collaboration across departments, nurturing relationships with academic partners, and exploring the latest 'healthier' food trends to keep Valeo Foods at the forefront of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a team of central R&D professionals, driving innovation from concept to execution.
• Collaborate with Insights, Brands, Procurement, and Operations to ensure innovation is rooted in consumer and customer insight.
• Promote a strong culture of innovation within the marketing team and the wider business.
• Attend and represent Valeo Foods at industry events, maintaining relationships with academic partners.
• Travel as needed to ensure alignment and execution across all UK sites.
