Certified Nurse Midwife

RESPONSIBILITES

Our midwives help our mother’s experience a natural childbirth, and provide prenatal care, individualized education, hands-on assistance during labor and delivery, breastfeeding and postpartum support. They also provide well-woman visits and care between pregnancies. Our mother’s have access to the highest level of acute antepartum and postpartum care in the region.

• Join an established team to provide comprehensive care to pregnant individuals, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care at our award winning birthing centers.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and positive birth experiences.
• Educate patients on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
• Perform gynecological exams and provide family planning services.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification.
• Active RN license in the State of Illinois.
