The Channel Account Manager (CAM) is part of the Indirect Channel sales organization and is responsible for sales and revenue growth in a geographic territory which includes designated Regional Partners, Sub-agents and branches of National Partners. Our Channel Account Managers are expected to use consultative and strategic selling skills along with a strong understanding of the UCaaS industry to consistently achieve quota attainment as assigned by management. They are also expected to develop highly productive reseller and referral partner relationships so that partners become self-sufficient in marketing and selling our products. ResponsibilitiesDiscover and manage sales opportunities with all designated Partners in region, providing accurate and updated sales funnel with current statusProvide accurate and detailed weekly, monthly and quarterly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed quota requirements, in SalesforceManage and execution of Partner planning documentDevelop territory plan, including documenting recruiting strategyMeet with Partners, participate in joint sales calls to customers and assist the Partner in closing opportunitiesAn in-depth knowledge of the features and benefits and requirements of all Alliances routes to market and the ability to articulate it to Partners along with the value propositionAssist Partners in broadening their product expertise and sales opportunities, striving for growth from all associated selling resourcesTrain partners on product, processes, and effective sales techniquesEscalate any pricing, SLA or other issues as neededCoordinate Partner access to Sales Engineering, Field Marketing and overlay resources as appropriateDisseminate all communications and announcementsCoordinate local Partner participation in events and trainingDrive product and promotions and programsRead all communications and maintaining a high level of knowledge on all products, programs and promotionsRecruitment of partners in territory into partner program Qualifications5+ years of related experience in the Channel with Channel PartnersProven success of building strong relationships and partnershipsAdvanced understanding of company's telecommunications products and network capabilitiesMinimum of intermediate understanding of company financial measures and advanced understanding of telecommunications industry and indirect sales model

The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.

Salary Ranges:

$173,250.00 - $288,750.00
