Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. Must have knowledge in Italian Cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in fine dining, catering, and banquet services. As a Chef, you will be responsible for menu planning, food management, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. You will lead a team of kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and excellence in culinary arts. Responsibilities • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimize waste. • Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and professional development. • Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation for all dishes served. • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during events and regular dining hours. • Monitor food costs and implement strategies to optimize profitability without compromising quality. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Requirements • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food service industry. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team. • Proficiency in menu planning and food management techniques. • Knowledge of catering operations and fine dining standards. • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory.
