Job Description

Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and restaurant management, with a keen eye for detail and creativity in menu planning. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and leading a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Duties • Plan and create innovative menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences. • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations through proper food handling practices. • Manage inventory effectively to minimize waste and ensure the availability of fresh ingredients. • Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to uphold high standards of culinary excellence. • Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary requests and restrictions. • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment while adhering to health regulations. • Assist in bartending duties as needed, ensuring quality beverage service. Qualifications • Proven experience in food service, preferably in a restaurant management role. • Strong cooking skills with an emphasis on creativity and presentation. • Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. • Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management. • Proficient in menu planning that reflects seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. • Familiarity with inventory management practices to optimize kitchen operations. • Previous experience in a dietary department is a plus but not required. • Bartending skills are advantageous for enhancing guest experiences.
