Job Summary We believe communication and a strong work ethic. We are looking for a self-motivated chef with a desire to lead the kitchen crew, create consistency, and refine menu items. We hope that you can create an environment that fosters growth for all of the staff in the kitchen, and an atmosphere that invites friendly communication with the front of house. We realize our crew is who makes this business run and want everyone to be on the same page and feel like they’re a part of the same team. We can be high-volume on certain days of the week, and offer catering/event packages for larger parties. Duties • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards. • Manage inventory control to minimize waste and ensure the availability of fresh ingredients. • Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to foster a collaborative and productive work environment. • Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to maintain high standards. • Coordinate banquet services and special events, ensuring all culinary needs are met with precision. • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to create a seamless dining experience for guests. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health regulations at all times. Requirements • Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a leadership role within a professional kitchen. • Staff scheduling • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. • Excellent menu planning skills with an understanding of dietary restrictions and preferences. • Experience with inventory control systems and cost/waste management strategies. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
