Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with experience in fine dining and catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes while maintaining food safety standards and ensuring an efficient kitchen operation. Responsibilities • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and high-quality food production. • Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and storing food supplies. • Assist in menu planning and development, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. • Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and leadership to ensure optimal performance. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. • Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring exceptional service delivery. • Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to meet fine dining standards. • Handle food safely, following all guidelines for food handling and sanitation. Requirements • Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry. • Strong culinary skills with knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods. • Experience in fine dining or banquet settings is preferred. • Ability to manage inventory effectively and maintain accurate records. • Leadership skills with experience in supervising kitchen staff or managing shifts. • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food. • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. • Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment. • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus but not required.
